Cataclysm-X has made many great tutorials which I found really useful when I was starting out [link] - I hope you find them as uselful as I did! Also, I found that I used to rush my drawings because I was so eager to finish them, so to prevent this I place a piece of paper over the page so I can only see one bit at a time. This prevents me rushing and also stops any dirt from my hand touching the paper. Sorry if I'm stating the obvious :P I've just looked through your gallery and you don't seem like a beginner! ;)
